Google Trends for print-on-demand, right inside Claude and ChatGPT

Add our Google Trends MCP server, a plug-in that lets your AI assistant look things up on this site, and ask in plain words what is rising for shirts, hoodies, gifts and SVG. Our server is free, with no sign-up and no account with us; it works on any Claude plan and on most paid ChatGPT plans.

The address to paste

https://trending.ytuong.me/mcp

Paste this address, not this page's address.

The steps below follow the menus as of October 2026; if a label reads a little differently, pick the closest match.

Add it to Claude Recommended

The easiest way to connect Google Trends to Claude: it works on every plan, Free included (the Free plan allows one custom connector).

  1. Go to claude.ai/customize/connectors, or in the Claude desktop app open Customize (or Settings), then Connectors.
  2. Click + Add and choose Add custom connector.
  3. Type a name, such as Trending, paste the address above, and continue.
  4. When it asks how to sign in, choose No sign-in, then click Add.

To use it in a chat, click + at the bottom left of the message box, open Connectors and switch Trending on. The first time Claude looks something up, it asks for your permission — allow it.

  • Team or Enterprise: an owner adds it first under Organization settings → Connectors; members then click Connect under Customize → Connectors.
  • On your phone: add it on the web or in the desktop app, and the Claude mobile apps get it too.

Add it to ChatGPT

For ChatGPT Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise and Edu, on chatgpt.com in your browser. The Free and Go plans don't support it, but Claude's Free plan above does.

  1. Go to chatgpt.com/plugins, click + and choose Add custom MCP server.
  2. Type a name, such as Trending, and paste the address above as the server URL.
  3. For authentication, choose No authentication.
  4. ChatGPT shows a risk warning; accept it to go on. Everything here only reads, so it can't change anything.
  5. Create it as a plugin, then find it in your plugins and install it.

To use it, start a new chat, type @ and pick Trending, then ask your question. Not listed? Check that it is installed in your plugins.

  • Business, Enterprise or Edu: an admin or owner may need to allow custom MCP servers first, or add Trending for the whole workspace.
Using Claude Code, Cursor or VS Code?

Claude Code: run this in your terminal (add --scope user to have it in every project).

claude mcp add --transport http trending https://trending.ytuong.me/mcp

Already added it in Claude with the same account? Then it is in Claude Code too.

Cursor: add this to ~/.cursor/mcp.json (or .cursor/mcp.json for one project).

{
    "mcpServers": {
        "trending": {
            "url": "https://trending.ytuong.me/mcp"
        }
    }
}

VS Code: open the Command Palette, run MCP: Add Server, choose HTTP, paste the address above and give it a name.

What to ask

Ask the way you would ask a friend. For example:

  • “Which hoodie searches are rising in the UK today that are free to use?”
  • “What should I get ready for the coming weeks, based on what broke out in past years?”
  • “Is ‘your keyword’ still rising?”
  • “What's new in SVG in the US today?”

If the assistant doesn't use it, start your question with “Using Trending, …”.

Limits, in plain words

  • Everyone using Claude on the web, in the desktop app or on a phone shares one larger allowance, and everyone using ChatGPT shares another.
  • Anywhere else, the everyday limit is about 30 lookups a minute and 600 a day for each internet connection.
  • A search for a phrase counts as 2 lookups.
  • If you hit a limit, your assistant is told how many seconds to wait.
  • The daily allowance starts again at midnight UTC.

The small print

  • Free, with nothing to sign up for and no account with us.
  • Read-only: it cannot change anything or spend money.
  • Answers come from the same pages as this site, with the page link so you can check.
  • The “free to use” and “needs a licence” labels come from an automatic classifier. They are a helpful filter, not legal advice.
  • Not affiliated with Google, Anthropic or OpenAI.
  • What is recorded when an assistant uses it: “AI assistants (MCP)” in our privacy policy.
